Kitchen is getting there at my place, black and white tile floor, red wall and curtains, round dinner style chrome edged table and chairs, art deco hanging lamp, and I am finishing up the restoration on my 54 philco fridge. Pictures will be taken when I put the cherry on top (the fridge).

    well,my tv room is covered with US licence plates,about 100 or so,dating from 1930 to 1990,hopefully they´ll go in the bar/dining room when it´s done,wich is getting a 50´s diner feel,sorta.no pic,sorry.

  7. OK, I finally scanned these pics. It's a old turkey plant in Texas. 1st floor is his antique store (Wooden Heart Antiques) 2nd floor the shop, and 3rd floor the house. These are all of the house.

Still living in a small apartment, but I'm doing my best in turning it into a '50s atomic lounge!

I also have a license plate fetish and was wondering if you'd like to swap plates? How about a 1976 bi-cenntenial Michigan red, white and blue plate for a plate from Sweden?

Our bedrooms are where the hot rods are (they're not worth taking pictures of!), but the kitchen's got the cowboys:)

I spy a Western Electric 302 phone... Is it a metal or a plastic body?

  16. Here is our little home. It was built in the 20's and then remodeled in the 50's. We still have the original 50's kitchen with metal sink and cupboards. I love it! Not to mention a 2 car garage, a 1200sf shop and an 1800 sf shop. Combined our shop space almost triples our house space. Haha!
