Scottsdale is one of my favorite events. There are a few events in the year that I work that stick out because of the cool cars, cool swap or cool people. Scottsdale is one of them that has all three. Here's some of what I saw. More will be in the Gazette soon! These next few are at a guy's shop in Fresno that we stopped at on the drive to Scottsdale. Check the one-of-two aluminum Ardun block. SICK! Part of the guy's collection. He employes a 4 man staff full time to build cars for him. I think I could get into the money thing. How about the countersunk holes on both sides of the rails. Almost every one of his cars had a real Halibrand rear.
some kool stuff Kirk...i saw boyd driving around in a golf cart with three cameras in his face....looked very odd.
Awesome pics!! I love all the pics in your various threads. Whats with the 32's on and under the lifts??????
Bought when it was one year old and taken straight to the Alexander Brothers for customizing. SUHWEET! Thee Polynesian II Hot Rod Ron's hot rod ride.
Jeem's pickup has color. I'm on the fence about this one. I'm not into the wheel and tire combo, but it's cool otherwise. First time I'd seen one like this.
Sheesh...ya didn't even get a pic of me or my car (not that any of these guys would want to see it anyway!!)...and where were you all weekend...didn't see you once...did chat with Brandon tho...nice pix tho..nice weekend too. Hauled in a loooooooonnnng 22 mpg between Albuquerque, NM and Holbrook...not bad for a basically stock 350" and a 4-speed, eh...??? R-
Pulled out of the garage after 40 years of storage. Alice Cooper brought out 2 cars. I didn't personally like either of them. This was part of the paint job on one commerating Billion Dollar Babies.
Thanks Kirk for the view from your camera. Some of the stuff you took photos of I never saw. I went ahead and joined this year in part to finding out before that you are involved with the mag. Can't wait to see it for more coverage. Next year you gotta stay longer at El'P's place for the leather and lace show it was great.
What else can you tell us about the guy with that amazing collection of cars???? Any details at all??
Great photography, man. Nice stuff. Goodguys is lucky to have you! JR aka Dynamic88 aka Lucky of Chrome Czars Motor Club Chicago
