Austin HAMBrs - Help a Detroit visitor out?

I'm a rodder from Detroit and making my first visit to Austin from Dec. 1st-8th. Ryan has been kind enough to recommend that I check out the Continental Club on South Congress... and also, to swing by South Austin Speed Shop on Lamar.

Are there other places you recommend I check out? Favorite hangouts? I'd really dig a chance to meet some of you while I'm out there - hell, I'll buy you a beer or two or three.
