I went to my first one last month, just a bunch of hot rodders and brit bike guys(and one Harley), kickin' back, shootin' the **** and checkin' out each others rides. I thought I'd be uncomfortable not knowing anybody, but they made me feel right at home. Picnic tables outside and $1.00 beer! Make a road trip and stay the night at a friends'. You can skip work Monday.
sounds like a fun time to me. I can not make it this month, maybe I can make it in Jan for my Birthday !!! I don't have to worry about skipping work , I own my own company Maybe I can find a house to flip up there know anyone who needs to unload a house fast and cheap.

Thanks Lucky Strkie. I should beable to make it next month. I am finishing a house this week/weekend so we can hopefully close on it week after next. I like checks when they come in and are really fat. hahaha This one wont be as big as I'd like, but it was for a good cause. We flipped a house for a friend of ours, (she is a single mom, and has been workin her **** off for a nice place.) We are texturing, and painting this week, and doing wood laminate floors this weekend, and carpet layers are comin in on monday. I need a break thats for sure, and just after the holidays would be perfect.

Late start, but headed to the shop for some BS. Got to weld up some crosses for the wife to give as presents. Then I'll be over, hopefully not late.
I'm only just sobering up and Les was still there when I left an hour or so ago. He probably has a much higher tolerance for alcohol though. Wimps. Left when it was still day light.
