I like it a lot. But then I'm partial to the Super Stock look. Here's mine, still looking for some 5 spokes for the front...

You're probably done after two pairs of tires already, but might I suggest redlines?

I had Cragar deep dishes on the back and 5 spokes on hte front of my '65 442 back in the early 70's. Gave it a meaner look.
    Your Cutl*** looks GREAT!

I think it looks way better now. I thought the first pair of front tires made the rears look a bit small. It seems to look just right with the new fronts.

  7. I agree. Pretty weird how ONE size made all that difference. If you put the 2 tires together, the difference was barely noticeable

Rat on...and it wasn't unusual to run chrome or mags on the front and "circus wheels" on the back with big rubber or slicks. Circus wheels were painted two contrasting colors with the color split going right down the center of the wheel.. Wedgies were rear wheels painted one color with a pie-shaped wedge painted a contrasting color. The "big dog" drag racers in california [in the 60's] would film their cars leaving the line and the contrasting colored wheels helped detect wheelspin on film...so we all painted our wheels of our bone stock 52 plymouths similarly to be cool...
Ok, I'll admit it..I painted up some wheels for my 63 rambler to race at the HAMB drags...didn't help. Tuck still kicked my *** with his mega-torque 65 Rambler with the new fangled overhead valve 6.
    Note the wedgies on my
    rear
    wheels.

The 442 had emblems on the side, trunk grille, and dash.
It also had extra HD suspension and 400 cubes.
You take the side plates off?

  10. Look closer in the pics for those emblems. They're forward of the front wheelwell opening this year. And 400 didn't come out til later. 1964 was the 1st year, like mine is, and 442 was 4 speed, 4 barrel, dual exhaust (330 CU IN engine in this 1st year). Later, they did a 400, and offered an automatic. The 442 then changed to 400, 4 barrel, dual exhaust
