now i know this has been covered before, but i still have a few questions.i know there are a few different 322's out there.would the trans bolt holes be different if it had a man or at in it.if i'm correct, the bells have either a six for a m.t. and five for a a.t.(bolt pattern).i tried to rebuild the old trans and ****ed it up.i can get another and i don't wanna use it(yes i'de sell it).so i think i'm gonna use a 10 bolt rear and a th700.if anybody has done this before,or if you have any better ideas, let me know.i have availibility to a lot of parts.by the way,it's all going on in a 53' buick(special i think).thanks
They all have a six bolt bellhousing pattern. Bendtsons(sp) transmissions sells adapters. http://www.transmissionadapters.com/53-66_nailhead.htm You screwed up the Dynaflow? Or the manual?
