Here is a link to 92 pix from today's blanket run in Indy. In sequence they were taken at the start point of the run, Indy Speed and Custom, then at Don Schumacher Racing, Bruce Litton Trailer Sales, Bubba's Trailer Park (lunch), Hammerart, Van's Metalcraft and Jerry Weeks' shop. Too many to caption so if you have any questions, fire away. This is the link: http://picasaweb.google.com/aussierooman/06BlanketRun Roo Man

Great pics. Man, that building with the town in it is right up my alley. Are there actual rooms behind the store fronts, or are they just a facade. Very cool either way. I may have to go take a visit and see that place. Doc.
Each front had an actual inside to it representing it's front. By far the most impressive place I had been in a long time. It kills me I live two minutes from this place and never had a clue.
Doc, the "town" is at Bruce Litton's facility right opposite O'Reilly Raceway Park. It is a replica of the main street in Onieda, TN which is where he is from. It is not just a facade either, the milk bar has real Coke in the machine (10 cents a bottle), the movie theater has real theater seats and a huge screen TV. The gas station has cars in the lube bay, the church has real pews. I managed to vague out and not take pictures of Bruce's race shop which is behind the gas station but there are some in one of the other posts. There is also an apartment over the store fronts and that is where Heather (Bruce's daughter--the blonde in the pix) lives. If you are even in Indy, get in touch and I will take you over there.
