I have just aquired what I believe is a matched set of the small Rochesters and I think they came off of a boat. The base of each carb has 2 adjusting screws and there is no choke. Other than rebuilding them, are they useable as they are for automotive? If not, what needs to be modified for automotive use?

The car tripowers only have idle crcuits on the center carb. There is a choke on the center carb only. The front and rear carbs only drop fuel and air. There is no vacume ports on the end carbs. I would suggest doing some research on the internet or maybe find someone with a tripower set up for you to look at. All the best John

Other than the flame arrestor aircleaners(very cool), there is nothing different in the carbs. They work exactly the same way.
