hello my freind told me about a car that was in a bush not far from my home so today in 20 below wheather whent and checked it out, looks pretty good.. hood is their and frame and front fenders...what do you think.. more pics also at http://s90.photobucket.com/albums/k245/firebikes/?action=view¤t=aoldcar5.jpg
Hurry and save that poor car. It needs to warm up in yer garage. It looks pretty cold. Been liv'in here in Los Angeles for 20 years and grew up in Toronto. Don't miss the cold at all. KNUX!
Thought that at first too, but the lower body line would continue around the back- and that dash is definitely not Ford. Think Plymouth ot Lafeyette- something like that
ill go get it in spring....then.. have to wait .. it will be way easier in spring should take about 1 hr to load it up.., now it would take a full day too much snow..
I got the way to get it. Just bring a torch setup with ya and melt all the snow around it away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KNUX!
Only if they haven't seen any salt on the roads. They still throw that down to eat the snow up in yer neck of the woods? KNUX!
I couldn't wait that long. That's another season of damage and the possibility of someone else finding it...after all, it's not a secret anymore... Bryan
Ahh,go get it now.Take a few of yer bikes and put em around the car to melt the snow and keep ya warm So your a Firebikes dude eh? I met the "Mini" guy at the national mini meet a few years ago.I was in my model A roadster and we chatted for a while. He has one of yer bikes(pink one) on the roof of the mini, now that was funny. Anyways,go get that car.....Shiny
some are good some bad... just depends.. my model a sedan is solid.i call the owner and seal the deal.. spring pick up..
Good find. when the ground is frozen & car frozen to it you end up 'wrecking' sh'tuff trying to dig it loose & pull it out. looks like mopar, as they had a big speedo in center of dash.
Cars in Ontario canada rust to **** in no time from all the road salt. Out on the prairies where temps are so much colder, road salt is not nearly as effective, so is not used as much. Cars last better in Alberta and Saskatchewan
In 37 Plymouth had a flatback sedan as well as the humpback. Definitely not a ford. Would have to see the front. Picking up cars this time of year if they are on the ground ends up bending them. Frozen ground doesn't want to let them go. I have a mint 48 merc 114 2-door that is bent in the middle from trying to pull it off the ground with a front end loader. Pat.
