Over the last few months I've had a little help on the '32. After X-mas f-head came over and helped me hammerweld the top insert into the old rag using a '49 baby Lincoln top.

If my camera had better resolution or I could figure out how to do some pic hosting service that would probably help. You'll have to take my word for it, it turned out better than I'd ever imagined. I was able to repair the worlds worst door top using pieces of a tree crunched right door.

I also replaced the cancer under the drip rail on the drivers side, passenger will be tomorrow. Got a deck lid so I was finally able to complete the rear of the body using the lid as a jig to align the rear of the body. The floor is now welded in using the panel spotter I picked up at a swap meet for $40.

Overall I'm now very close to stripping it down to finish the chassis welding, plumbing and wires. I'm not going to do any body work until after the summer. I'm desperate to drive this bitch. It has torchard(sp) me long enough. Dondanno has my seat frame and springs and is soon to be working his magic stitching it up. So, all is good. All I've done is shoot a seal coat of Krylon semi gloss black on it for now because I was ,after a year and a half, tired of looking at bare metal.

Can I have the roadster if I promise to drive it in the rain? [IMG] That coupe is so hot the rain will evaporate before it hits..

You're right Keith, my roadster is going to be pretty boring to me after I get this thing on the road. I'm just trying to be like you and all those other coupe guys I've been hanging around with. You all seem to have women around too. How's that work?

I think I just wet myself! Danny should do your seat in mauve pho-fur. Then you could come down to gayville (Portland) and get married to your boyfriend or dog! They really don't care what you marry in Portland.

Great looking ride man! Gives me a major pudgy.

Man, Love that deuce! gotta '31 on deuce rails, '32 shell, 4 inch chop and runnin a '32 tank buts its still not a deuce! Hammer Hank

  25. Doug the deuce looks great. What happened to the bare metal? As far as resolution, try turning the flash off. Flourescent lighting and flash is a no-no and you'd be suprised how much better your images are sans flash even when lighting is poor...
