as usual, I will be there freezing my *** off beside you. (although it is not proper for us musclecar types to fraternize with the trad boys...)

I bought some kick *** ****ies overalls at academy. You can put your hands in my pockets to warm them up if you'd like!

This "out of towner" from Detroit will definitely be showing up...wearing a black jacket w/a Detroit gearshift patch. Sorry I won't be drivin the model A but I'll bring some build pics for those interested. Please introduce yourself.

I stopped by Crushproof Custom Auto for a chance at meeting Lux Blue this evening but all was dark. Checked out HeadHunters on Saturday night for a while and had an awesome breakfast at Las Manitas Sunday...awesome morning food! I'm totally diggin' the vibe in Austin, especially since it's beginning to get really chilly back in Detroit. Feels warm here to me.

I really appreciate all the help I've received from Austin HAMBers! You've really made me feel welcome here. Thanks.

    Chad

I'll be there. I'll be the guy in the gray Kontinentals jacket. And a sweatshirt. And a t shirt. And a thermal shirt. And jeans and longjohns. And gloves. And a ski mask.

Still waiting on my ***le so I can get some plates which is giving me some time to put a floor in. If you guys do it on the 18th, and the DMV gods are smiling on me, I'll make it.

Depending on everybodys holiday plans, I'm pretty sure the 18th will happen.

Hmm, howsabout you guys get yourselves a couple cases and bop over to Kev's place and help him get the vato-cruiser back online. Work has a wonderful way of warming you up.

That's another reason why I can't wait to get to H-town, I can start helping others work on their rides and they can help me.

I usually leave around 10, right about the time Lux starts trying to get guys to put their hands in his pockets.

Seriously, I leave at around 10, but others stay a while later.

Whats going on with it? You got the exhaust fixed right?

  23. Me and a couple guys will be there as always. Taking the 53 Chevy and 64 Merc. Trying to get my other buddies 54 Chevy down there, but he just called and it dyed on him down the street. Damn thing will not start now so I don't know if he will make it or make a bondfire. Hell, if we push it there we can make a bonfire out of it in the parking lot to keep warm......Chuckle......!!

Thanks again to Mark , The Dog & Duck Pub, and all who came out.. If Im in town, Ill see you on the 18th!!!!!!!!

Evidently, the pipe parts guys are building giant crack pipes with my bends and they're too busy with the rock to send them my way. I also think my rings went (again?), kinked fuel line from the barrel, and I know I've got a m***ive oil leak in the front around the timing chain cover. I just...sniff...want her back, man....that's all I want! :(

I just want to thank everybody for braving the cold and making it out last night. Had some new folks out, some regulars with new rides, and Firedome showed up on yet another kick *** bike! I swear he has one for every day of the week! Funny, but last night was one of the best yet, even with the weather. It was nice to have Chad there visiting from Detroit, hopefully we represented our town well. Kevin--just fork it over and put a new motor in! It hurts at first, but it goes away with a smile when you start it every morning. Thanks again everyone, see you on the 18th.--Mark
