PLEASE help me, this car is just too boring. I want her to see what I have been talking about so I can go ahead and start fillin' and cuttin' Shaved (door handles, mirrors, door trim, roof emblem etc) Supremes 1" white Walls Turqouse (watson stlye) roof that matches interior. THANKS ALL! [image]http://[/image]
I dunno donny... she saw the watson car and "wants a roof like that." I gotta show her the roof of that invicta you did... something like that in shades of blue would be nice!
cool man, lemme know ....well gotta go try to finish a job up...sittin in frontof the computer waitin for paint to dry is better than standin there lookin at waitin for it to dry.......haha........talk to ya soon......
<img src=http://img2.photobucket.com/albums/v11/ataribaby/TEEBEE.jpg> Shave..relocated bird....spots..Bigger Wheels (really Needed on a Bird!!) Chromies....and Flake Pearl Roof and Front Section... Cheers
I dig the Mai Ki-Ki version. Especially the way it makes that pointed lipstick/******** thing stand out on the door!
I was simply going to post a picture of Watson's T-Bread (it doesn't get much better than that), but I LOVE Mai-Ki-Ki's version! That is COOOL. If you want to keep the interior, just change the blue to turquiose. I think that two-tone break is so sweet. Use metallics, flake, and pearls for zip. GO DO IT!
I just like to cut things up. Here's a "What if"... what if Ford took the European que from Studebaker...
Mai Ki Ki, That's some nice photoshop work. If I didn't know better. I'm dinosaur still drawing with my hand. I need to learn photoshop. How long did that take to do? KK
Probably ten minutes? Once you get a handle on Photoshop its piss easy. After a lesson or two anyone who has a handle on computers can do it well....Seriously. Cheers! =]
Thanks guys! I always figured that if I was Jay Leno rich, i'd build cars like that... just little slices and dices, and make them look factory. To me, customizing is making improvements in the shapes involved, focusing on the intent of the design, not just changing for change. Although that's fun too... Anyhow, here's the cut break-down if you're wondering... Starting at the rear, it's been shortened about 2" between the bumper and rear wheel. The rear of the top was moved forward almost 3". The door was moved back about 4", and lengthened 2" at the front. The cowl/windshield is moved back almost 3", and the top leaned back about 2". All measurements are professionally Guessimated.
Mojo, I like the short bird idea. I know a guy that did that abt. 30 yrs ago on a 63 bird. He's still got it, drug it out of his storage shed awhile back to get to another car and I snuck a picture of it Richard
