I want to mate a ford zetech to a T-5, or a 5 speed of any sort. Can I just get a 5 speed out of a ranger to hook to it, or must I get an adaptor from Cornhuskers? Any info would be great.

Thanks a lot guys. Quad 4 rods were able to steer me in the right direction. Thanks.

I used the Quad 4 adapter to mate a T5 to my Zetec, my engine is from a 2000 ******, standard shift. The adaptor was close but not quite right. I had several bolt holes on my engine that did not line up with the adapter and I had to redu one of the alignment pins and the bolt pattern that they had for the starter wasn't even close to mine. I think that their adapter is for a Zetec from a Focus. Any how with a little welding and work I got eveything to bolt up. Quad 4 recommends one of the internal hydraulic clutch cylinders but I used an external slave cylinder and a throw out arm and bearing from a small Ford pickup, a little fabrications but it worked well.

If you are using a Ford T5 go to www.ddperformance.com and they have all of the info on the Ford T5s, pilot dia, input shaft length, ratios, and torque ratings. Good ****!

BTW what are you putting your Zetec in??
