while watching the speedblock and other "car shows" on tv, i wonder how many show hosts actually know what they are taking about. we know sam, from 2 guys garage was a mechanic, but what about joe elmore from horsepower, stacey from trucks, that *** clown from muscle car, what's their story?
I do know tha Kevin from trucks painted the copperhead truck on trucks with Stacey. I believe Stacey does most to all the work on his trucks. From what I have herd.
Who cares?.................It's not what you know, it's who you know......or b***. I imagine they all come from an automotive background of some sort, What they know doesnt really matter now.
Stacey hasn't done Trucks for quite a while- he's the real deal. That new wrestler reject host I don't know about. His veins scare me
They tell me Cotterpin and JJ have built a few between them , but they both make ***holes of themselves on TV.
I read somewhere that Jared went back to Rad Rides. Ian the host of extreme 4x4 was a mechanic and was working as a high school shop teacher before sharing the camera with Jessi. grumper
Jesse...mmmm.....she welds and fabricates better than most guys I know....and looks hot doin it! (well ...I don't really know about "doin it" but she looks good doin anything else)
the "*** CLOWN" from muscle car TV as you called him,,is a HAMBER..."LOU"..i think is his HAMB name, maybe not,,,if we are talking about the same person,,,, Joe,..(he's the white one, right?) well,,,he seems ok as a person,,,but i dont think he would know cool if it walked up and slapped him in the face(yes,,i have seen COOL walk up to him and slap him in the face,,and he didnt even know what happened, the wrestling freak,,,aparantly ,,from what ive been told,,he lied about everything and was fired before the first show he came out on aired,,,, the Jesse girl,,,did she used to work at boyds?
trent mcgee from superlift tv is pretty cool ive worked with him .i saw stacey at an rock crawling event a few years back .he didnt seem to get it..
He really has not been on the last couple of shows I have seen. I think they are getting rid of him. I could not stand him either. Stacey was the man,Trucks was one of the better car shows on TV when he was on it. CBB
Jessi Combs needs to be turned on to the HAMB...what a doll. One more thing,,I wish Joe can stop saying "BOTES" ,when it should be BOLTS. "Were gonna bote up this crossmember while you guys take a break" whatever.
She's a friend of a friend. I'll p*** the word along. Here's a picture of her when she was at WyoTech
Jessi is so damned cute...and I'm sure she could teach me a thing or two about fabrication...it'd be a blast just to hang out with her and joke around about ****, she seems to have a hell of a good sense of humor...hopefully she'll sign up here and get out to some events around the SD/MN area...
Funny you should mention.... Dear Applicant: We received your on-line application for our hosting position on the Powerblock. And having completed the first phase of our screening process and reviewing thousands of applications, we have begun to narrow down the applicants and think your technical qualifications are appropriate for the job. Be creative, be animated. 3) When you are done, please write your name on the video tape (any format will do) and sent it to us right away. 4) Also include 1 photograph head shot of your mug from the chest up. I was going to be one of the schmucks on Muscle car TV but decided that re-locating to Memphis wasn't for me.
I don't think I could be on camera...I'd have to get used to it...I have the personality for it, but I'd be WAY too shy...and man would I love to give that Ian **** a boot out the door and work alongside Jessi every day...I can't believe they destroyed that Ranger the first time out, and some of their mounts were nowhere near strong enough...at least they had the balls to show us that "hey, we screwed up and this is what happens"...more power to them, and I've gotta say, most of those shows are getting a lot more interesting than the old Hot Rod TV and Horsepower TV have been in YEARS...although I do miss Stacey from time to time, even though he's a bit overzealous with his descriptions of things...
You guys sound like the women in my office. They sit on thier big fat ***es and talk about soap opera's and all the things they wish they would have done the previous weekend. I mean this lovingly of course
what baffles me is the guy from trucks who looks like goldbergs twin brother....how the hell can he work on anything with fingers like sausages?
Most of these shows have one person who actually knows what they are doing and the other is just an actor. I was at RTM Productions having my car taped for the Powerblock. I met Jessi Combs and she was dirty from head to toe and LOOKED SO HOT. She had been actually fabricating all day. Kevin Tetz is a bodyman and painter, but I don't think he knows much about mechanics. LOU is a very cool guy. Jared went back to Troy's. The Wrestler dude was an actor, I saw him on an episode of Wanda At Large. Don't ask why I was watching that.
I loved the wrestler dude!!! He always wore clean kakis and talked in that really cool deep voice. I'll bet he could even fix a wheel barrow in less than a day! He's not fired, he's probably still looking for the metric vice grips.
well, that kid on horsepower (younger guy,not elmore or the brownheaded guy) seems to know his stuff, stacy probably does too...i was surprised they got ride of that girl who did the thingies between the shows..michelle.she used to come out all pumped like "up next on horsepower!we blah blah blah blah blah!" and all that, then they had her doing segways all sedated like she was medicated and then they got rid of her and got daina capatrick, which i'm NOT complaining about in the least since she was HOT and knows cars creepy
