Been working on this for about two years, everything is homemade, frame, body, all pieced together, chevy two engine, S10 Tranny, Winters Quick Change, Quarter Eliptic Springs, Nick Name: The Bat. Boat Winshield, Came from my fathers old wooden motor boat. They inspired the build.
You're rotten, Ron. Just tell me! The rear of the cab looks like it may have been a 40s or 50s fender at one time.
Bad Ass modified, really dig the stance and the bodywork. You gotta at least give us a hint on how you did it, or what tools were used. The swoop on the friction shocks is a cool detail, PLEASE keep posting pics!
How 'bout some pics from earlier in the build, and all the way through. Was this started with a '28 Dodge?
HA,HA That was my guess also, there is a hideen hood on my modified as well. I am digging that modified ron great job please keep us posted. you know there are much smaller batteries (dynabatt) for you to choose from to save some space inside where you have yours going.
It is very graceful. If you hadn't said "Try to figure out what I used" I would have never thought that it's "found" parts, which is really good. It's hard to hide a whole hood (or whatever) in a small car body
I've started a build useing a 50 chevy car hood and a 50 chevy truck hood,+two doors from the car,it's a single place also.Your ride is outstanding.I love it.Your creative use of pre existing shapes is right on the home builders money. Thanks for your post.A kinder, gentler xderelict.
That thing is AWESOME!! Very nice craftsmanship! You have great taste! Dig the quick change too (of course)! Tell us about that peddle setup. Pretty slick how you snuck it in there around the Schroeder box. What's the scoop?
I'm with you. My dad used a 56 Chevy car hood for his Model T speedster body, but I am guessing this is something earlier like this... Cool project. Keep the pics coming. Neal
Now that's a front bumper. Rottonron, that car of yours rules, very nice, nice details, nice workmanship.
