I'm with Neil on the rear quarters idea. Split, what looks to be a pretty deep hood, or trunk lid and the split 'edge' becomes the 'leading edge' of the rear quarters. Neat-o! Some sweet work you're cookin' there Ron. More pix/updates would be swell. Please! Koops.....
Ron, It sure is *****in'. It's easy to see the artist in it. I love the details on the rear cowl. Beautiful bodywork. Will it get salty in '07? I don't see the coupe? Did it go on down the road? Dooley
YEAH man! I'm with Clark.......... Lot's of cool little details that STAND out!!! And that cowl.......***y *****...... Good job.....I'll be keepin' an eye out for progress on this 'un for sure!!!
Ron, you are a magician. You walk into the garage, and magic just happens. I see your usual attention to detail everyplace I look. Will it be ready for our August trip? Ole Don
Absolutely BAD***!!! Really dig the "modular" steering gear/pedal ***embly--great idea! Very inspiring and refreshing. Go man go!
Hello all another damn new guy here. Just wanted to put in a guess as to what the back of this great looking car started life as. For some reason I'm thinking 53-56 F100 hood split down the midldle and fliped up on it's end with the front pointed at the ground. Am I even close? GREAT car with a ton of awsome work.
I love the pic of the blister for the steering on the workbench -- that'll look killer. Was that handformed or does someone make those?
My third ever,"That's f'ing killer" post. Wow,can't wait to see that car finished. Keep the camera handy,we want to see more !
Yeah, got to add my kudos as well, your creativity is inspiring. That's what hot rodding is at it's finest, a creative mind and able hands building something to display your individuality. Nicely done, not just another cookie cutter.
Nice work. I've had one of those boat windshield frames sitting on the shelf for several years and always wondered when I'd see one in use. Keep posting pictures. I'm sure there will be a lot of interest in your car.
LOL -- yea, there goes the price on boat windshield frames . . . like the WWII surplus latches and tents . . . .
