Ok Local Hambers. heres the deal . Im in Jackson Michigan and ive been invited to detroit for the autorama with my 32 3 window for the 75th anniversary ****. I need a ride in an enclosed trailer and im willing to pay a fair price to get there and back. I was told we would set up on wednesday and of course we will be out sunday after 8 pm. I swore id never do another indoor show but then 75 years!!! If you can help me out please pm me and give me a number to get hold of you and we will talk. If your just replying to this to hammer on me for looking for an enclosed trailer then go for it. Ive got broad shoulders and i can take it. I have reasons for a trailer and thats that. Dave
lol... i was just going to type a reply slamming you for trailering. but it looks like you're expecting it..... that's no fun, so i'll shut up -scott noteboom
its easy for guys from the west coast to slam trailers cause there's almost no excuse for them to ever use one......but they never quite think about what the hell it can be like here in MICHIGAN in the winter.... I'd be supprised if any one of them could keep their hot rod out of the ditch driving here in the winter.....
Well I can't help much with the trailer part but maybe we can get a bunch of us together for the drive in for friday or saturday. (Hopefully they we let me in) If I'm lucky enough to go I plan on taking my car on a trailer to,,, no heater in Michigan, in early march sounds like a very cold driver (not that big of a deal) but iced up windows with little or no visability and a 2 hour drive sounds dangerous! PS I'm only about 20 minutes south if you ever need a hand.
Hey Hippie, you Panzy I only had a half inch of ice on the Caddy when I drove there with no windows or heater and got p***ed up by trailers with warm tow rigs. Hey Jusjunk I'll ask around as I live in Ypsi so I'm not too far and have 1 friend with an enclosed trailer but not sure if its empty or not. Most times he uses it as a garage/shed.
**** man. i'll give you a ride in the back seat of my car and i won't charge you anything. i'm sure it'll be more comfortable and MUCH warmer than riding in a trailer, enclosed or not.
I appreciate it. Like i said im not looking for a free ride ill pay a fair price to get the job done! Dave
I live in Kentucky, hate to say it, but my '36 Pickup is headed for Detroit in March, yes, in a trailer! Fresh ride, probably won't have any side gl***, and no Heater. It's not going to be a trailer queen, just excited to get it there, and kinda afraid to make a long trip like that just yet! I really don't care what anybody says about the trailer, i'm a long FREAKIN way from detroit!!!!!
