Thanks guys and thanks Blake for showin' off the pic! I added a couple of little groovy stars after I sent you that pic...it added a little extra punch. Definitely a fun job, despite wiping off the striping about 2 dozen times until I did something that I think really "fits".
I think a little wear-n-tear might just give it a little character - this ain't no trailer queen surf woody minibike!
Here's another reason he rules. Personally delivered from TX to Detroit by Dan in time for the Autorama. You ROCK!
Mighty fine job on that minibike seat ,And the fact that it aint no trailer queen makes it even better... Gotta get one of those shirts and see that show card you did for Rudy in person DBF Ron
Thanks again! KCsledz...I use a combination of brushes for painting images. I use a lettering quill for bigger areas or large outlines and a "liner" for outlining smaller things and doing detail work. I use to spend big $$'s on liners until McPhail turned me on to some liners made by "American Painter" (series 4050)...you can pick 'em up at Hobby Lobby or Michael's for about $3! Dan
I love it. That tiki doesn't quite have the long board that the one I have has. I'll post a picture when I figure out the new camera. 62buford, In a month or so I'm going to need some photoshop help with the chrysler. I loved what you did for hami hopefully you can help me, too.
You don't even need me to say it.... Your stuff is super cool! That tiki is just so.....BLAM! right there. That thing oozes coolness. TIGHT is the word for it...
Sweet piece Dan!.....liked that T shirt design you were working on from the other thread....will you be offering that shirt on your web site in the near future? Let me know...would love to model one around the shop. Cheers!
