Okay, I've had several requests to post pictures of the HAMB room and my home Soda Fountain. I'm pretty dumb about this internet stuff, so I had a buddy put the pics in an album at www.snapfish.com. The account is hustonkevin@bellsouth.net, and the p***word is "p***word". If anyone knows how to make it easier to access them be my guest. Here's where it gets interesting. Look very closely at all of the artwork in the HAMB room. 99% of it was done by a HAMBer. The first person to correctly identify all of the artists (or at least the most correct if all are not guessed) will recieve a 500.00 gift certificate to ANY parts vendor in the world. I don't want to leave out any of our HAMB brethern abroad. How's that for getting into the Christmas spirit? Just post your guesses on this thread, as it will be used for the official count. I'll announce the winner December 20th. Merry Christmas and good luck. Doc.
Nate (not sure if he did the stripping or not (probley someone else) Gene, 50Dodge4x4 did the cars I can't tell if Nate did the smaller ones as well as the large ones
Safarinut 50dodge4x4 Norm Grabowski SurfMonkey Whodaky Brush! Chaz? chromedRAT Barnett Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera I'm running out of steam. Cool room Doc.
You get my vote for the "most seriously afflicted on the HAMB" award...too cool. You have a SERIOUS disease. You need to seek treatment. I love it. I wouldn't even TRY to name the artists...there are so many on here.
thank YOU Doc. thanks for supporting the hamb. thanks for supporting all the up and coming artists! i see many repeat purchases of art from poor college students, and other starving artists. thanks for the freebies you've given. if you treat your patients as well as you treat hambers, you must have a great practice! i am appreciative of "high rollers" that behave like you, spreading it around to those who have less, without gloating, etc. ahhh, if only there were more like you.
Doc., I would not even try to guess, I will say you have a amazing collection. I dig your house the decor and all the HAMB art is great, I really like the cieling fan and the bumper car. Thanks, for sharing. People who give something back are very rare nowadays. Happy Holidays to you and your family, CBB
Not too keen on the artists, but enjoyed the pics anywho.[/QUOTE] What does that mean.....Your not too familar with them or your not too"keen"
I'm not even gonna take a stab at the names. But I think perhaps you need to go to a H/A group.(HAMBaholics Anonymous)LOL Hi I'm Doc and I'm a HAMBaholic.
Lemme see if I can figure this one out... -Jellio (life size model parts) -Whodaky -chromedRAT -surf monkey -G***er/Pilot Shift knob is made by Van Chase Studios -Norm Grabowski -50Dodge4x4 (metal cars) -paulatxntric? -Janne -Brush -safarinut -alteredpilot -Pinstriper -00MACK? -SUHRsc -Daddy-O -Tim hopefully most of those are correct! ...you totally need some 1-shot slinger on those walls though Doc!
No clue on the artists... I know some of them, some I dont. I could use the money, but I know someone out there could use it more. You are my HAMBer of the year... not just for this... for the freebies from the cl***ifieds and helping all of the HAMB artists keep afloat. You rock.
Thats what I was thinking as well but Doc informed me it was "sand" and looks better in person cuz of the flash. Give me a weekend in that room and the walls would be RED!
Doc, Thank you for giving us a little insite into your world. Very neat stuff. A great collection of HAMB artwork! J.
