Shit, that ain't nothing. My next rod is going to be a piece of plywood painted to look like a roadster. I'm just going to take it to car shows and set by it in my lawn chair. .....actually, thats a pretty good idea. It would be funny that's for sure.
Wheres the crybaby doll? I wonder if the owner gets pissed when people laugh at it while he's still sitting in the car? That thing is lame. He should send his application in to join the Fresno Pandraggers.
When I first saw it ....in HotRodNZ mag I cringed...and thought ..Why???....and still do to a degree.....but Rodding is about being individual...and it is rightly that....i didnt know that the paint job is only on one side .....split personality
Now boys, be kind to your fellow rodder, this pour bloke is obviously suffering from MUTFA syndrome ( Money up the f*cking ass disease ) only known cure is a case of John Deere Blitz Black.
What? No sense of humor? Whether you like the "flatmotor" or not, pretty nice car. I don't think too many here would turn it down if it was a raffle prize....
Somebody comes up with something different... and everybody shits on it. Think about everything cool on your rod... then remember "way back when". Some jackass probably would have shit on it too.
You're right, but I would sell it as quickly as I could, and not just because of the paint. Underneath the paint is a cookie cutter street rod. It's his car, and he is certainly entitled to roll it out as he wishes, but I don't care for it.
So what would you do if you decided to keep it? A set of wheels and tires as well as a new or repainted hood panel side would probably do it for most. The hood panel would make a nice piece of wall art, has an interesting history to it as well. Nothing wrong with cookie cutters . . . if you like cookies that is....
Yes..wheels/tires...but I suspect it has the Mustang/Heidts style front end, coil over rear, disc brakes, etc. None of that appeals to me.
So...if its not flat black, or rusted beyond help, with anything but a SB Chevy, and you aren't covered in tattoos and there isn't a skull or two hanging off of it.....it's not a hot rod?????? And you call yourselves ..."individuals"??????? Hey, to each their own........................
Flat black is OK, but flathead is what lights my fire. I hate rust. The only skull I own encapsulates my brain. I have a tatoo. It's 42 years old, and I don't remember getting it. We are all individuals. And I still don't like the car.
the airbrushing looked really nice, heck that looks just like my flathehad engine in my 1930 coupe its kinda funny actually not that funny but still ,
