  1. Love those close-ups of the flames and hood orniments. You've got a good eye. Talk about a dream garage! '32s just stacked everywhere! WOW!

Don't know why, but the pic of the flames and cracked black paint really does it for me. Thinks for the pics.

Thanks for the pics. Never got my camera out of the car. Duh!

  12. Kirk was about 7 years old when the hood was painted, the only place on the 40 that the paint went to shit. About 60% of the folks that look at it say "Dont touch it" gives it the "50s authenticity", real patina! Am going to fix it when I get my Deuce on the road, (last driven in 68) by Christmas, I hope. Then work on the hood. (maybe)
    Later, Dave

Almost forgot, great show and great pics by Kirk, but then, they always are !!!

    Kirk, thanks, great pics!

Do you, by chance, remember if this is a model A RPU sitting on one of those swoopy 32 frames? The one featured in RnC a ways back? Was this guy from Florida?

I think it would look better if the top of the side window came down and matched the bottom of the top of the windshield (if that makes sense??) The need to visually line up. And round off that center "peak" on the snout

He owns a trucking company in Fresno (among other things). He's a very cool guy who likes mostly traditional stuff.

The black chopped 41 ford is a business partner of my dads. He bought it as it sits except the white wallls. I tried so hard to talk him into hubcaps and whitewalls to create a 50's custom taildragger look (it came with cragers and blackwall)... It has a 455 in it I think. the chop on it is just right..

Anyone know what the female hood ordiment is (arms going backwards). I can see that on the tip of a miniture longboard for my woodie project hanging ten with the toes on the nose
