fellow hambers, has anyone seen this site before? the internal revenue service has a auction site and coming up is a collection of cars. here are just 3 examples in the collection: 1958 lincoln mk. 3 2dr ht.,1960 t-bird, 1962 t-bird ROADSTER!. their is about a dozen cars with pic's and complete descriptions.all of the cars are #3 or better: turn-key! here is another auction that was on 12/6/06: 1928 buick 4dr, 1946 chevrolet 1.5 ton truck,1959 edsal 2dr ht. time to cash in that 401k making under 10% for something that you will enjoy and end up making double that easy. stay cool!

Please excuse my swearing...but I have to, as it is my duty as an American to say this. The IRS can **** a **** out of my *** and then choke on it. I've had my own experience with the IRS, and trust me, this auction isn't doing anyone a favor. I know there are some nice cars up for sale, but at what price did they take ownership of these cars. Not all of them are drug-raid seized cars. Some of these belong to people who maybe lost their job, came upon hard times, or someone that the IRS had a hard-on for. **** them! The last thing the IRS needs is our support, or any more of our money. They bleed us enough, and now they want to profit some more?!?

Remember this: taxes were meant to be a TEMPORARY way for the country to generate funds. Ha!!! See how well that worked out for the American people. We fought hard for our independence from the British so we wouldn't have to pay a FRACTION of the taxes that we're required to now!

Remember the stories on CNN a few years back of the IRS threatening people into paying back taxes? Threats from our own government. Don't you think they've ****d us of enough money? Here's an idea, donate those cars to a charity so they can auction them off and make some money.

How about the inheritance tax? Taxing an inheritance from a deceased relative that has been taxed a thousand times already!!! Taxing the purchase of a used car that was taxed once upon the original purchase, then again every single time it has been sold! One car could be taxed dozens of times!

**** them, they've got the biggest scam on earth, and we have virtually no protection against them. I say let them choke to death on those cars.

Sorry for the rant, but the IRS is a MAJOR sore spot with me.

53Sled Sleeve couldn't have said it any better. The nice little IRS lady has been knocking on my door for about a month or so now. It apears that she intends to take about 40,000,00 dead presidents from my pocket next week.

Problem is I don't know were to find them so I suppose she'll have her clammy little paws on a couple of my rides....

If we all banded together and only bid a couple of dollars on each item they would have to give up this seisure stuff as being to expensive to continue. Lets say for instance we bid 1 dollar on a house and then two more people bid one for 2 dollars and one for 3 dollars that represents a ligitimate auction of three bids and has to be sold. If that happened at every sale they tried to do they would be loosing money and have to give it up as a government loss.
