Longshot*** Anybody got pics of this?***

I believe I have a couple of side-shot pics, B&W of course, but I won't be able to get to them until later today (storage). I don't remember the fin, though.

There was actually a series of cars (three, maybe) by that name in the '50s-60s. They were followed by a sideways-mounted SOHC Mustang funny car in the '70s and then this (from Garlits) a little later.

But I can't seem to find any of the Roth one (except the one you have there). I thought for sure I had some saved locally. I'm still looking...

 

Here's another from the March 1965 issue of Hot Rod. Built by Jim and Don Sievenpiper. The article says similar ch***is arangements were tried in the late 50's but had a lot of trouble bending axles and were eventually abandoned. Sorry, don't have a scanner.

cool pics. I didn't know of these styled drag cars. Really interesting. I would like to see more.
