The HAmb Room and Christmas giveaway

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Doc., Dec 6, 2006.

  1. A personal note about Doc.

I had the distinct pleasure of joining Doc and his girlfriend Donna for his birthday dinner a couple of weeks ago, on my way back from Austin. Never met the man before (PM'd a few times), he and Donna rolled out the red carpet for my brother and I. Fantastic dinner at a really nice restaurant, a ride in his '55 (it's perfect), and a look at his '32 (oh my) and the Lunar Lander (the new interior ROCKS. This car is only going get better, it's in VERY good hands).

HE picked up the tab on HIS birthday, and he presented me with one of Gene's sculptures (looks su****iously like the HAMB Bomb :D ), and gave my brother one of Aaron's t-shirts.

All-in-all, a very good evening with a very cool couple. Good to meet you Doc.

    The man is for real.

Doc it looks like you have some additions to the collection since I saw it last.

I looks like your fan is still missing a blade though. Ha Ha Ha

Doc's house is way cool, and I agree, he is a gracious host as well.
