I just got off the phone with my State Representative.
We discussed this bill and it's lack of safeguards.
He informed me that he has recieved no emails other than mine from car clubs.
Please let them know in your emails that you are part of the collectors/restorers/antique car community.

I sent email w/copy of SEMA model to all Ohio reps listed on prior posting. An old arab proverb says "If you let a camel put it's nose under the edge of your tent, he will soon be inside". We have to stop this crap werever it shows up.

I'm not so sure emails get the desired effect. I've read that a snail-mailed letter, with name, address & signature and a short-to-the-point note to your Rep would far outweigh emails. Just too easy for an interest group to spam emails to every Rep in sight. Politicians only give a crap (if then) about potential voters & constituents.

    Just my 2¢

any contact is good contact and of course the reps respond to people from thier district as there supposed to, but pressure from out side the district is noticed by them to. its our fight not somebody else's

I emailed all the reps last Sat. I've gotten several automatic replies and one that appeared to be handled personally by an assistant. Said she would see that the rep. got a copy of the SEMA model legislation that I included in .pdf format.

Hagerty Ins. has been good at being involved with stopping these kind of things. Check with them or their sight on what they have been doing.

They are voting on it right now. Go to www.ohiochannel.org and click on the House of Reps box on the right hand side of the page. It is live streaming, watch how your rep votes. Everyone cross your fingers....
