yes, i live down here in australia, not too many caddy parts stores around my neck of the woods.

i need a full set of front wheelbearings for my 57 cad.
anyone have any suggestions of where to get some at a decent price.

mcveys dont have them at the moment.
i emailed a place called "Coopers vintage" in burbank? anyone heard of them?

any leads would be much appreciated.
cars been in bits for a couple of months now and its KILLIN ME not driving it.

Take your old bearings to a bearing supply outfit near you, not an auto parts store. Those bearings will have a number on them that they will be able to match up...

I've used Kanter and All Cads for my '61, '62 and '63. They're pretty reasonably priced. You should be able to get a bearing/seal set for around a hundred bucks. Hope this helps.

Belive it or not I got a set from Napa in Saugas Ma. For my 52,or try Motion Industries in Sommerville Ma. They have bearings and seals for everything.

  6. Do what he said. You'll probably pay less and get better stuff. I bought bearings and races for an old Ford banjo recently....$110 from the vintage folks and $80 for Timkens from my bearing supply store.
