it looks like fun to me. a short five window with a lot of metal (hard) metal work left to do. I've seen better ideas and I have seen worse. I would love to see that thing get done. However, are we done with skulls and iron crosses yet?

from that last pic, it looks like it has such a wildly aggressive rake to it, youd be slidin off the seats and wadded up in a ball on the floorboards! Its good to be different, it may not be everyones favorite, but it does have some original features to it that are cool! (and yea... the aircleaner is over the top. its something id expect to see at a monster truck show with the metal robots breathing fire! Does the jaw open every time you punch it?? that might be cooler.... or maybe it just wouldnt help at all.) On the other hand, im sure it took a long time to create that, and its a cool looking skull, just not there, maybe hang it under the trunk, under the body, as a hidden goody!
Is building that thing. I know this, because I sold him the 5-window body. Bob is an amazing builder...this thing is being done for a customer who is going to be using it for charity/childrens hospital functions....its supposed to look "hot wheels"-like, as a function of giving the kids something to remember. So, yeah...its a bit off the chain, but Bob is a seriously talented guy, and there is a reason this car looks like this.

Its a car-toon. I am not sure what to think of it, but I respect the amount of work and imagination it is taking.
What are those rear wheels??? They look to be 20"! To be honest, and I know it's not fitting around here... some of those bigger wheels look good on certain cars, and those wheels are friggin awesome! They look just like the old E-T's or Halibrands...
Funny you should mention that he wanted it to look like a Hot Wheel. That was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it. Anything with a Hemi rocks. I would probably enjoy an AMC Matador with a Hemi,,,,,,,,,,,OK maybe that's pushing it. Maybe a Pacer with that skull popping out the hood? AMC had some really bad dreams, eh??
