little curious about ebay landspeed '32 ford...

    didn't see anything about this on here but i found this link on another site. anyone else think the price is a tad high or am i just ignorant to the building of such a car?

    cheap for that car, i would guess he has at least 125k in it .....

  4. Looks like someone put a lot of work in that car. Also looks like you could not reproduce it for the "buy it now" price, besides it had a record in the A/GCC. I was certified in '05 and '06 and has a log book, this most of the time makes it a little easier to get right back out racing again.

    To step into a 200+ MPH car for under 50K is unheard of and you couldn't even get a sniff at building it at 80K.

    I'll bet he spent more that 30 K just competing, entirely apart from the car. We built a nice 3/4 tube ch***is for a customer on a budget a couple of years ago. He invested 15K in the ch***is and 10 more in the running gear and electronics. That doesn't include any powertrain.
