Pinks All Out - I'm going to enter my 55 Chevy

The All out version of the show is decent. But recently I watched an old episode where one of the guys that now judges if the start and times are even was on it. The younger guy with the brown hair. They were racing bikes. If you saw this one episode you would see just how much of a loser they employed and what people are up against when it comes to the show.

 

i hate the damn show, but was hoping you would make it, it would make it worth watching, im sick of seeing the fugly cars on that show it would have been sweet to see something as nice as your 55 give it a go.

 

Ya' know, I don't generally give a damn about anybody elses' car. Certainly not enough to watch a TV show where I have to put up with some 'personality' who may-or-may-not be cool/knowledgable, and has to say whatever carefully scripted **** some committee came up with.

But if there were more cars like this '55... put it this way, I thought that the car looked interesting enough to search for posts by shakeypuddin & find out what it's running.

If the 'pink triangle' show ever changes their minds about wanting to show your car sometime, just quote Eldon from the Mentors:

"...pick up your skirt, pick up your blouse, and get the **** outa' my house!"

Because those *****s obviously don't know a cool car when they're walking by it. Tell 'em to have Paul Sr. and Boyd whip up a couple 'theme cars' and leave you the hell alone.

I can't believe they would show that fugly vega (wooly bear) and not the 55. They obviously are still waiting to hear the POP sound that comes from pulling their heads out of their ***es for the first time.What a bunch of *****s

 

Well, your '55 may not have fallen in the "biggest" ET bracket they could choose from, and I can understand that.

But it sure sounds like they picked some boring cars for the finalists. I don't care how consistent it runs, I don't want to see bracket cars in person, much less on TV. It's the communism of motorsports, and I prefer the free market of ideas and ETs. my .20

I'm still hoping to make it into the TV show. In Texas they showed a bunch of the qualifying runs early in the day. I'd be happy if they showed my junk making a p***. After all, I wasn't there thinking I could come away with the 10 grand, just trying to get my car on the most popular show on Speed TV and get some publicity for the g***er style cars.

Let em run their boring non descript cars, the show will be stupid and boring as usual. They had a chance to feature your car, a car with at***ude and soul, but NOOOOOOOOOOO.......oh well, their loss. At least we still got ya around !

They are trying a different format for Pinks at my home track.. Firebird Raceway in Phoenix.

9 second cars running all out (no sandbagging), not for ***les but just for cash.

I just got a NHRA Ch***is Cert for the car, so it's legal to 8.50. However it is unlikely I will have my license by December 9th. If not, I will have a friend drive the car.

Anyways, I think I have a decent shot at getting in the show. I'm sure they will have plenty of turbo Mustangs and nitroused Camaro's, but not many straight axle 55's with stack injection.

the only way you are going to find 16 cars that run 9.0 is to find a bunch of bracket racers with all the tricks, like throttle stops.. nothing worse then seeing a bunch of cars with names on the side, sponsor ships etc... and try to call them street cars..

 

Sorry to hear about that. Your car is BAD*** and in our book smashes all the other "pro" cars. Woulda been cool to see ya beat the Hooters dragster or whatever.
