You can also try looking for a set with SP (speed products) stamped on them...Al Sharp made a bunch of products with SP on them....You find me the original scoop off the 554 coupe and i'll find you the valve covers :)

i've seen to pairs of wieand covers on ebay in thepast month, last pair went kinda cheap too. The only think about those is they are a joint cast with studebaker and they have the bosses for the 4 bolts or the two for olds just depeneds on what someone decided to drill out.

Didn't see the auction, but a Ford Y-Block v/c is much shorter.

My "convertible Weiands". They were Olds but now will be Stude. I love to watch the old timers scratch their head over the Stude motor. Most guess Olds or Cadillac. With 6 chrome acorn nuts per side that should really get them going.

Hmmm.. guess they were for Stude. So it's FOUR extra bosses then. Well, if you do use those for Stude you'll have to plug those extra two holes then, and figure out a way to get that to look good.

Just two 5/16 X 3/4 SAE bolts from underneath through a matching pair of Stude rubber seals with Chrome acorn nuts and washers on top to match the others. I just counter bored them for the seals Monday. When assembled it will look like there are 6 hold down studs. Even the Stude people will be scratching their heads.:D

Ah, some noname Fentons. I've got a pair myself. I used to be sorry that I didn't find a pair with the Fenton logo, until I saw a pair...when installed on the heads, the "Fenton" is upside down!

I had a pair of the fenton's at one time never did use them they were a real thin casting I wasn't to impressed. I have a pair of the Weiand valve covers that I am using with my Weiand tri power. I am looking for a Weiand fuel block if anyone has one.

Ahhh... I love the old advertising art. Especially water-transfer decals. I have a couple items that I always seem to have a hard time parting with just because of the way they did advertising art back then. I had to get rid of a busted-up old box from the early '60's a while back and I seriously almost cut out the logos to keep.

Speaking of Gotha...I have a set of Gotha rockers for my '56 324
    Olds engine.
I met a guy from San Diego who said a relative worked in the machine shop there. He said this relative told him the correct way to
pronounce the name was ...Go-thuh like "go fast".
We always called them "Goth-uh" like gothic.
    Does anybody know for sure?

I doubt it. Pretty sure he's looking for stuff for the earlier engines. But just in case, I can put him in touch with a guy that is supposed to be trying to repop Sharp valve covers, blower manifolds, and timing covers for the late Olds (455). Totally different from early Olds, though.

I make the Sharp valve cover and the Sharp timing cover. I also will be producing the Sharp blower manifold in the future.

    Whoa! Nice!
How was that copied? I mean, because aluminum shrinks 1% from original mold when it is being casted. Maybe you took it to 3D scanner and printer?

Those valve covers look great! Got thoughts of makin' some other parts also?
