Great video. What is the function of the rollers built into the ground?

they were to start the fuel cars up, so they didn't have to push start with a tow car. instead they just rolled onto the rollers and another vehical or motor would turn the rollers then they'd dump the clutch and start it.

Read about a new do***entry in the local Long Beach paper about 2 weeks ago. Ordered the film, haven't got it yet so I can't comment on it. But can wait to get it. Grew up going there, 2 brothers across the street from me ran a 61 falcon with a straight axle, and a guy 2 blocks down ran a top fuel rail, ****ers and Gerade (forgot how to spell the second name).

heres a link to the dvd...

That was great! Its funny how every now and then you hear 'garage' or 'plymouth' amoung all those French words. Couldn't understand him, but the footage made up for it.

Quick time is just the "player" you need to play the vid. If its not on your puter already you will need to down load it to play it. Just like Windows player, Real player, Google player etc.

  22. I understood you the first time when i said "i think so". WHAT french thing do i click on to try to play it?
