Who would have ever thought "work" could be that much fun???:D
Boy did we have fun or what!

Calendar Stuffing Update from HAMB Calendar Stuffing Headquarters.

The GMB's started arriving promptly at 11am for a fun filled day of packaging the HAMB calendars. OldBobSign came prepared with return address lables, cool name tags and AWESOME stickers for everyone as a thanks for helping kinda thing.

Danimal was in charge of all the "late" orders that came in on Saturday and Sunday. Here he's being supervised by my staff of Eli and Court. Next thing I know those two boys are going to want their own compnay cars. The boys did a fine job of whatever task was asked of them. A real pleasure to have around. (if all kids were like them I might have choosen to have a couple myself!) Thanks guys!

I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce you all to the Cardboard Tagging Department and show you the staff.......I guess they're alittle shy

A side note regarding all the "love" that's stuffed inside the calendar envelopes. First off, please make sure your children who are able to read aren't around while you are opening your calendar package. Second, please no one take offense to anything that is written. It was ALL done with LOVE from the GMB's. Third, the cardboard is all stuffed randomly so the Tagging Dept does not have any control over who gets what "LOVE message". Nor does the "Packaging Dept" know which "LOVE message" gets what address lable on. Trust me, it's all random. Only the messages on the outside of the envelopes where ones specificly for the addressee.

Also, if anyone DOES get upset about anything please remember these didn't come from Ryan, they came from the GMB's and I'll take the heat for anything.......or forward your message to the Flint chapter of the GMB's who oversee the Tagging Dept here at HQ and you can deal with their mean ***es.

I of course didn't read them all, or even hear all of them but I did take a couple of photos of some of the milder ones. If you are a GMB and didn't show on Sunday unfortunantly the taggers had alittle fun at your expense. I would guess about 90% of the envelopes got a "LOVE message" inside. If yours doesn't, I'm not sure if you should feel left out or lucky.

I'd like to personally thank each and every person that came out to help. Without all your help this could NOT be done and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Some folks drove HOURS to help....ChevyGirlRox, WhiskeyRunner, Larry, Lampshade Boy, FastElvis, Hippie. Thanks guys, we certainly needed everyone we could get.

I'd also like to thank OldBobSign for the help setting up beforehand and the cleanup afterwards, along with all the stuff you printed for us, ThirdyfivePickup for bringing special treats for everyone, Fast Elvis for the raffle prizes and Danimal for being the grill master that he is.

I's also like to take this opportunity to thank Django, for without his creative and organization skills this calendar would never be this cool and probley not even be created cuz I don't know many people that would spend the countless hours involved to do something of this magnatude. Thanks sweetie, your the BESTEST!

Personally I had a BLAST! I really enjoy hosting all the GMB's here at the house. The calendar stuffing event NEVER feels like work....we're having to much fun.

It was definately a good time. Not only do the cardboard inserts have crude messages, some even have advertising on them, and a few have coupons that are redeemable only with certain GMB's.

BTW- The car that got advertised on quite a few inserts, is "The ****"
    - The phone numbers are for real
    - And the camera makes me look fat, I am actually 150lbs. soaking wet

This was a fun time. I talked with some old friends and met a few new people. FlatheadPete is funny. 62Wagon gave me some tips for my upcoming Hawaii trip. Fast Elvis auctioned off to me a sweet and genuine 1980's Winston cigarette banner. Thanks dudes! The cardboard tagging crew was a very creative and well rounded bunch of individuals. Their iden***ies must be kept secretive to avoid any confrontations....I thought GMB stood for Giant Manhole Beads...right...Jdubbya?? Thanks for opening up your house Denise. Tara and I had a great time, even though she may have felt a little awkward around the cardboard crew at first....
