I think we'll start at Pyles, just to see if there's anything left. Then to another yard in that area.I'll check with the owner soon to see if it's ok.

Cant be much left at Pyles. It was almost all gone the last time we were there.I have seen some of the cars that were in the yellow garage advertised in the Round-Up magazine in the last few months. That place in Bloomsburg was cool.

I forgot to tell you I went by there two weekends ago. Its cleared out most of there stuff left is in the upper lot. I know they won't let you pick off the few old cars there. I didn't see any of the buses and trailers that where there before.

We'll have to have a moment of silence for Pyle's.

too bad being a retail store manager this time of year consumes most of my time otherwise I'd be out there with Spike.

Spike-find me something cool to build.

You guys should check out Hoffert's in Bernville. It's worth the ride, they haven't s****ped anything out since '55. Rt. 78E to 183S. BTW, I need a good pair of '33-34 Ford truck doors.

  24. There's a yard up here in sturbridge ma. thats closing and selling off all there stuff. 1,000's of cars. Lot of old stuff but it's pretty ruff.I hauled a 51 woodie out of there yesterday. It's ONLY about 6hr.for you guys.

  25. Hmm.. wonder how far that is for me and Fritz? Any pre war stuff, Bob?

  29. HE SAID THE END OF THE MONTH, BUT THEY WILL STILL BE THERE FOR SOME TIME CLEANING UP. HE DIDN'T SAY FOR SURE BUT I THINK HE WILL STILL BE INTERESTED IN CASH SALES EVEN IF THEY ARE CLOSED.

  30. Thanks, Bob. Looks like a 4hr hike from here. About the same as a trip to PA. Might do a quick recon mission up there by you.
