I am putting this out to get some ideas on what direction to go with this. It has already been chopped (chopped50ford) and would like to know what other HAMB'rs out there would do with it if they had it. I don't want to go to custom on it. Has anyone ever seen one of these chopped or done a little as in kustomized? Input is worth the weight in gold to me for those that respond to this. "VIVA LA HAMB"! KNUX!

Actually, I was thinking of keeping the stock headlights, something different on the taillights, 2 tone it or flake the roof and eggplant the rest of the body. I want to put on skinny ww with my Merc caps or spider caps and for sure in da weeds! The handles are shaved as is the trunk too. The car is solid, just has to be all put back together. As for the HEMI. I wish!!!!!!!!!!! Cha-ching. I have to go lo-buck on the driveline. I have a 700R4 trans but no motor yet. KNUX!

    Hey,

No KNUX, No! don't do it!!!!!!! No Bowtie motors beneith the
hoods of old Mopars. It's bad for your mojo!

I'm with ya on the Chrysler headlamp doors. Deep blackcherry
with heavy flake, some silver Watson treatments, '53-'54 Caddie
sombreros, maybe '57-'58 Plymouth Plaza or Belvedere stainless
trimmed an necessary, lake pipes, white vinvl tuck-n-roll interior.
    Its gotta have skirts.

The old 50s cars don't need much, the tops are just too tall and you
already take care of that .I'm building a 57 Buick that's chopped,
shaved rear deck, bullnosed hood ,lowered and painted
silver-frost. The old ones get a style of their own!
Tires and wheels will finsh it off.

Yea, What they said. Keep the driveline mopar. 383 or 440 w/727 8-3/4 w/3 :23's A pair of those sweet custom made to order Hurst Drag tires from HotRodRubber (gonna need em if you go Big Cubes) As my Mopar saying goes, "You're Either With Us or Behind Us" Has a nice Ring to it. Your ride is nice. Real cool chop. Front in the weeds. Gonna be something everybody wants. Just stand back, Crack a cold one, and let your mind do the rest. Just think. A million possibilities. You'll find plenty of help on this rag. It's a good thing. Ride on...

HA HA HA Burbee, I like it, I hope it sticks! Anyways, Put a Hemi Damn it, We can get the other ride if we go halfers, remember? It has a good running Hemi and ******. Also, I am going to ask you a million questions about the wirirng kit, it is idiot proof, and I am pretty sure I will get stuck in it! BTW look at my avatar it looks similar to your ride. (I wish!) The '54 Chrysler is a great looking car in stock form. With the chop and a good slice of lowering (tortion bar clip) it will be fantastic! a 360 with an overdrive you can cruise forever. Retain the stock headlights and grille, maybe even the trim! Paint it a solid colour (your choice), either glossy or satin and a flaked roof and it will turn heads!Wide whites and 2-bar flippers! Just my thoughts! Rick
