Auction for Norm (Chopped50Ford)... Lil something for the Ladies

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Pirate Vixen Clothing, Dec 12, 2006.

  1. Lee and I were very upset to hear what Norm has gone through... And after going through all of that just a few days later he came to our house to help Lee out... That says something for the type of guy he is. Before I even met Norm I knew he was a great guy. Lee had told me so much about him. And once I did met him he was that and more. We wanted to try to help.

Most of you have messaged me asking what I design. Well, I design Handbags for a somewhat famous company ( if you are part of trendy hollywood ya know us). I am offering a San Antonio Satchel Handbag. It is our Gold Brown White. Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson and Hillary Duff are just a few who own this bag.

When I told my boss what had happened she told me to pick any bag to auction. This one is a great seller. And is very popluar.

This would be wonderful for one of the gals on here or if you guys still need a gift for your gal. This auction will Last ONE WEEK. It will end on TUESDAY DEC. 19th at 2pm. Once Norm has gotten payment I will send to you the bag and a press kit. Hell I will even gift wrap it for you too!!!

Sorry this a bit late Norm. But I wanted to do something for you but just did not know what until now. Thank you for all your help and just being a great guy. The world how it is now could use a few more guys like you!!!

    Thanks!!!

Dang, if this would have been in Detroit this last weekend all the GMBs would have posed with it. Our purses are prettier than any in Whittier!

how pricey are these bags typicaly?? i know they can get some stupid money for "fashions" such as this. i think it's AWESOME your helping out (and i don't even know what happened to him) but if this is a real big ticket item i wonder if Ebay would'nt fetch a (more) premium price... more so than the male dominated HAMB i mean.

anyway. hope it gets big money. i hate to see anyone down and out.

  12. They do go very high. But I will not say because I do not want to miss with the auction...

I wanted to do this for Norm. Have the money go to him. And have the money go to him quickly. Ebay will not do that.

Yes I do not this is mostly men. But there are women on here as well. And being Christmas and if any of you are like my babe you shop from the internet or last minute. So give you a chance to shop for your girl and help a fellow Hamb'er out at the same time.

Sorry if I was wrong for trying to help and be part of the Hamb Community. The last two post were not that nice as it is being an auction to help someone out. I do not have car parts to give. I am giving what I do have to help.

Norm is a great guy and I just wanted to say thank you for all the help he has giving my boyfriend Lee. And it breaks my heart that someone would steal from another. Specially at Christmas.

I don't think anyone was saying anything in a negative tone, I know sometimes it can be read wrong.. The GMB are a fruity bunch that enjoy playing with purse's and furs for that matter!!haha

I think this is a great way to do what you can to help a friend.

I don't have a lady, or I would bid....and I don't think it would look good on Plowboy, or else I would get it for him!!hahaha j/k;)

i don't think you are wrong in anything you are doing. i did'nt mean it that way. my concern was only that you get the most money you can for your pal. i think it is AWESOME what you are doing and what others have done for other HAMBers in need. i think it's absolutely amazing. i'd bid on more stuff and help out more on these types of things if i could but i'm usualy broke being divorced only a year now and payin all the bills on my own.

i'm all about that spirit of giving and helping your fellow man. like i said. i don't have much money to give but i do donate my time at the local domestic violence/homeless shelter. i spent a couple hours there today in fact. busy tiime of year for these places but it feels realy good to help and i know the staff appreciate having the help.

i ment no critisism at all. sorry if it came off that way... hey, at least my response can bring this back to the top :D ...

I do believe we take things differently with the wordage. I know all know that this is to help out a fellow HAMB'r that had saved up hard earned $$$$$$$$$$$$ so his kids and family could have a joyess xmas. This is also a way to get your loved one, whether that be yer wife or girlfriend, a kool purse and help out to this cuase at the same time. 2 birds with one stone!!!!!!!! Thank you all that have seen this and responded so far. To the top!!!!!!! KNUX!

I think you underestimate Aaron, that boy knows how to accessorize. If this auction goes for one week, will we be able to get it by Christmas? If it's good enough for Pam, it's good enough for me. HAHA

As a car girl and a chronic shopper I can vouch for that being a great purse from a high quality line. Any girl would love to have that under the tree with her name on it! (self included...but I have a Nailhead powered GMC to build : ( )

You're not gonna wrap the DOGS in the PURSE are you?!!

    My wife wouldn't like that.

Can't afford to bid, but at least this goes back to the top if it's not already.

It is a GREAT looking purse. Not sure if I would know how to act with a "normal" purse. I've been carrying the same license plate purse for over 10 years now and if I had a new one my friends might think I stole it. :D

    another bump for the cause.

  27. Haha no wrapping Hot Dogs in the Purse haha...
I will drive the pan to you if you are within 30 miles of Whittier, CA 90601...
