I always thought a grinder made things fit BETTER, not worse...

Worst thing I do is shock myself. All the time.

Ya the tooth didnt chip off, the whole thing dropped right on the garage floor root and all, Tooth was like 1 1/2 inches long. My uncle is a dentist so had a little latenight emergency trip to his office. 10 stiches in the mouth and he put the tooth back in because it was out under in hour. He bonded it to the other teeth so it stays put until it grows attached again, So tell Santa no Gold fronts for Xmas.

All in all, It didnt feel so good

Oh and if you ever knock out a tooth put it between your cheek and gum, It helps keep it alive so your not livin ghetto fabulous!

reminds me of the most famous shop quote ever

"pick that up and take me to the emergency room."

-Mr Hubert (forever known as "boo boo" after that day.)

another lesson learned that day...if a running lawnmower starts to fall off a table, go ahead and let it fall off.

I did the same trick once, you were holding the grinder the wrong way. I bet you were scared ****less to look in the mirror. I still have the tiniest scar on my lip and the wisdom that came with it ten years later. I hope insurance covers your grill.

  23. Thaaaaat's gonna leave a mark...

Looks like me when I went to pick an Oxygen bottle up by the cap and it was only frozen on. It popped off and *****ed my front tooth.

Grinders bite... be careful is right.

About 2 months ago, I had a spark fly in my ear while I was using a 7" cut-off wheel in a tight spot... so I kinda flinched and took a step back. I was squatted down and standing on the grinder cord. The movement spun the grinder in my hand and the cut-off wheel went right under my knee cap.
That's really the last thing I wanted to do....:(

Sharp things and heavy stuff have no conscience... they just hurt ya.

    Hey Rustypipes:

Just somewhat encouraging note - I knocked out four front teeth (actually the '67 Buick coming the other way did it) back in '73 on the dashboard of a 69 Impala. The dentist wired 'em back in and said, "in six weeks we take off the wires and they fall out or are usable...".
They have been "usable" since. And I can bite into cold ice cream without feeling it!.

Had something like that happen to me years ago working in a body shop only it was a very rusty tailgate on a pickup. Grinder caught an edge and well you know how high a tailgate is, yep, right across the bottom edge of my boys and across both legs. Thought I was gonna be a girl til I checked myself out.Sure pays to be alittle extra careful
