aftermarket hubcaps ?

does anyone know the name history or mfg of some hubcaps from the fiftys that had i call it pinup girl on the hubcap i saw a set about 20 years ago on a pink caddie and have never found the mfg at one time i was told they were made in calif. any help thanks plugs

 

i think night prowlers sells the re-pop ones. they're kinda pricey though.

yeah,the ones yer talkin about at night prowlers are often refered to as "nude woman" or "naked lady" ones.

I've never seen those before. Wouldn't want one on my ride but would be pretty cool for my garage wall.

 

no the ones i am talking about were on full moon hubcaps and looked more like a 30s vintagehood orniment plugs

 

I ones that you are talking about are sometimes called Marlyne's they are being repoped also. You just buy the girls and mount them to your own cap. Truckers used to put them on the sides of there rigs as grab handles & I've seen them on old refriderators as handles. I bought one at Turlock last year for a friend for around $8.00
