a friend of mine recintly bought a 53' buick special from a fella over near stewertsville.it's flat black,just had an interior done by e-z boy,322 ,AT.mostly original stuff.i know this car has been around jersey for a while.the trans was just rebuilt before my friend bought it.well,the trans started leakin from the front seal,real bad while he was in deleware.once he got it back home,it went into the shop and another friend,took out the trans,took it apart(don't know why),let it sit for a couple of months and then put it back together wrong and blew it up.the reason i'm askin is,i would just like to get a little info on the car.looks nice from the outside,but once i got it up on stands,it's pure rotten underneath.couldn't even open the doors.i was gonna put a 700 and a 10 bolt in it,but there is nothin to weld to.just wonderin what kind of options i have.if anyone has a rebuilt original 2speed,close,for sale?or if anybody is interested in the car(after i've built it up so nice)?thanks
Do you have pic. or any other Info. on the guy. I live about 15to 20 minutes from strewertvilie, and I also have some freinds from there.
i'de post some pictures,but i don't have a camrea and i don't realy know how.i ain't so good on the 'puter.
