Here is one for you all I have a 1948 Chevy that my pop bought back when I was 8 and now I am 30 and have been driving every day for the past few years...Pop never put the car in his name don't know why just found this out...He lost the ***le and don't know how to get ahold of the last owners since it has been so long...What can I do to get a good clean ***le on this beast?? I heard from some people that you can get a ***le from one of the southern states off the internet?? If that is true where do I go and how much does it cost and how legal is it???

    Any help would be great!!

I get mine from International ***le Service .They have a Las Vegas address . They also have a web site. I was worried when it seemed to take some time ,5 or 6 weeks, but I did receive it and it went thru the courthouse like a breeze. It was $120 then but I don't know if they are still in business or not. Best of luck.

Thanks for the info went to there site and it sounds kind of scary...They say you send them a bill of sale selling it to them and then they sell it back to you..How does that work and how do I know that I will get the ***le back in my name??

It works, they do what they say,and I have used them several times.Nothing bad to say about them.

  5. What state are you in? Add the state to the ***le of your thread and you'll probably get someone who's been through it before that can help.

Have you tried your DMV? They may be able to help. Go to the one you won't be using so if there's a hitch they won't recognize you since you won't come back.

I have used Broadway ***le Company in Birmingham, Alabama with good results. Actually, I just sent off their paperwork for my '41 Ford truck a couple of weeks ago.
You had better check with your local DMV though. Some states don't recognize "non ***le" state paperwork.
