At one point I tried to get a few friends in Minneapolis to do this... and no one hopped on the wagon. I'm gonna show them this video to get them to. THANKS! FUCKIN GREAT VIDEO!!!!!
One of our friends does video editing for a living, he's smart enough to stand on the side and watch us hurt ourselves. To Flyntstone: Chris said his balls swole up like grapefruits, he's on the couch. Ouch! For the flat landers: Parking structures! We're building special cars tha can fit into an elevator for this very purpose. Yes, it can be done. www.sfvisbf.com Paul "carcass" de Valera

damn that looks fun! there used to be a few of us doing that around here in the Puget Sound area, lots of FAST hills, not so much kamakazi as balls out speed, I built a few, two that used drop tanks as bodies, can't believe I cut one up to patch another, both melted in to the ground, rusted away.. here's pix of mine, the black one was clocked with a cop's radar gun at 67 mph
You are all NUTS...... Reminds me of when I fell off the back of my cousins kart back home in the UK...many, many years ago....hurt like hell & ended up with a mild concussion!!
Holy cow! Now THAT'S entertainment. I watched four of the videos so far and was crying with laughter ... and my heart aches with jealousy. Philadelphia, next ... hmmmm?

Haha, Roger Hickey, Tom Mason, Arron Cox ring any bells? Action now....oh man that mag was way ahead of it's time.
Kinda OT, but if anyone is interested in an easy, online video editing/mixing tool, check out the place I'm working at now. http://eyespot.com You can create an account and upload your clips, add audio, trim clips, add effects/transitions, etc... all online. And you can post the embed the mixes in your own site or download them in just about any form you choose (divx, mov, wmv, etc..) Just thought I'd throw that out there for people who want to do some video editing, but don't want the hassles of a big editing program...
Closest we got to this kind of insanity was sledding down the hill in front of the Milton Hershey school where the white field was at Hershey. No one ever made it to the bottom ON their sled.
Finally a type of racing I can afford. Sound editing on the film was great and even made this old codger laugh his a** off. Wonder if the grandkids wanna race?
We took my brother's soap box car and put the plastic wheels off of my BihWheel on it... that's how I learned how to get SIDEWAYS! We had a full summer of fun until my older brother John was towing me behind his ten speed... hauling ass... and I went on one side of, and he on the other... of a 4x4 mailbox post. I can still remember the frightened look on his face when, for a split second... we were side by side... Needless to say he was rocketed over his handlebars... and I rolled the cart into a ball of rope, plastic, nails, cotter pins and wood... Man that was fun. Sam.
