chevyroxgirl got the wrong results, there was a vote to amend hb 560 from 7 days to 14 days to comply with city regs, this was the 41 no vote results she has.

the bill passed by 90 yes to 9 no votes by the cars guys, the bill may be stalled till next year,

This NE Ohio girl sent 99 email and made 14 calls in opposition to HB 560, including one to John Hagen and Sylvester Patton, our local congressmen. I also spoke to John Boccieri. Part of the problem here is that many of these congressmen lost the election in November and thus have little interest. Since it's doubtful that this Bill will reach the Senate floor before the Christmas break, it'll likely be postponed until next year's session. That should give us ample time to become more organized. To the folks in other states, remember, if such an asinine bill can be proposed here, your state could (and likely will) be next.

The first set of results I posted were for the amendment, my second post was for the full bill vote (note complete election total at the end).
Junkyard Jan where are you? In Hagan's district? We could be neighbors!

I live in Ohio, the last election the "PEOPLE" vote in a smoking ban and mininum wage increase. Neither will take effect until they are rewritten!!!! WTF DOES THAT MEAN?????? I guess that's what happens when people are too lazy or STUPID to do for themselves and want the government to do it for them!!!!!!...grouchy
