    Hi,
    my name is Kelly, I'm 37 and live in munich/germany.
    I've been checking out the H.A.M.B. for quite a while and thought I should go ahead and register. I like the knowledge on this board when it comes to customs and rods! I'm in old cars since I was 16, my first "real" car was a 55 Buick hdtp at the age of 18 (you can't drive legal earlier in germany...:rolleyes: ).
    Since a few years now I own a 49' Lincoln Coupe (my personal RealThing) and I'll turn it step by step into a leadsled. At this time he already runs on airbags, have a tuck'n roll interieur, a rebuild engine, a new tranny, bubble skirts, some little shavings and so on.... but of course it's not ready now.

    A 59' Plymouth Fury is also in the house - it's the car of my wife.

    My latest car is a 1960 Ford f100 which I bought in my US - trip this october in pomona. Now in germany, the Ford will become a lightblue-metalflake paint job on the top and the wheels, a serious drop and a rollpan in the rear. It will be my daily during the summer month.
    If you want, have a look on my website www.49sled.com

    A few pics...

    That Lincoln is beautiful and that '59 "ROCK" is way cool thanks for the pictures. I sold my '60 F100 last December, miss it allot! Also I was stationed in K-Town, Germany when I was in the Army way back in '66.
    Welcome

    He guys - thanks a lot for your welcome!

    @johnnyboy:yep, the lincoln is extremly rare here in europe. I bought mine from a little museum in germany. I know three or four others ('49-'51) over here - but only from pics.
    A 51 coupe is somewhere in austria (museum), a 49 sedan is located in switzerland (cheaters car club) and there is a 50 convertible (!) cruising around in belgium or so....

    @Silhouettes 57:you was stationed in K-Town in 66?! I have a few friends there - it's a nice little city!

    @LDNFAST: I see the roaddevils - link in your posting. Do you have any contact with your european chapter? There are some guys around here in germany.

    Pretty soon there will be another Lincoln in Europe :) Just bought a 51 Cosmo Coupe. Hope next week the shipping can be fixed and that would mean an estimated arrival in early September.
