where I can get the width of my steel rims modified? I've got a set of 15" x 7" rims, and I want the center sections transplanted into a narrower wheel band (whatever the correct term is) so that I end up with two 15" x 4" wide wheels.

    Can you help me out?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Find a stock car guy in your area and ask where they get there wheels straightened & modified. Guy here in Rochester, NY widened five wheels for me for $35 each and did a super job. Changing your centers into a narrower wheel shouldn't be too difficult for them.

Thanks for the leads. We've actually got a wheel repair shop here in Sarasota and I was planning on checking them out this week.
