I've just been reminded that I have a work related xmas party to attend tonight, so I won't be able to make it to the D&D.....

If he turns up, somebody kick Lux for me! Been trying to get in touch with him, but no luck. My '51 will be at his place in a few days, and want to touch base.

Drove mine to work for the first time today. Still needs a lot of work but I'm going to make it to the D&D tonight - probably closer to 9 though - we have a dinner to go to.

 

Since no one else has spoken up, I'll be glad to kick Lux for ya Dan. I saw him last night as well, coulda kicked him then if i'da known!

 

Is the food okay at DnD?

 

If you don't work there for 3 years and eat it all the time, yes, it's ok. I'm not sure about the prices these days, they were going up right before I quit. Like, 10 bucks for fish and chips. Maybe you can talk 'em into a deal.

 

I just got word that the pub may be closed tonight, due to some kind of water issue under the bar. BUT, the show must go on, so they say. It is still happening, we will have access to the bathrooms, and I'm going to fill some coolers up and bring them for everybody. This might be better, as the parking lot will be emptier. If you were planning on coming out, carry on with those plans, and maybe bring a cooler filled with your fave beverage. I will have more info later and re-post if the pub is going to be open. You know, you don't really need a reason to kick him, you can do it any time! Besides, I still owe him a few from one night at the Black Cat...long story...

So, when Ben shows up with a black '51 Bel Air, you can kick him every day till it's done.

 

Dang it, I wasnt able to make it last night. One of these days the stars will line up and I will make it.

 

I didn't skip because it was the Lovejoy's party...fine steak dinners and open full bar....well it was full, but now needs a restock.

 

Thanks to everyone who made it out last night. We had a great time, hope to see more of you next time out. I'll keep everyone posted as to next time, which will be the 1st, 2007. Hope everyone won't be too partied out from the night before! Thanks--Mark
