Does any one know of any good sources for metal band saw blades and the "tires" that go on the wheels? Preferably in the Long Beach Area.

    I have a Delta/Rockwell 14" (I think)

    Thank you

  2. Metal band saws don't have rubber tires.

The ones I've been involved with have steel wheels both drive and driven - with a ledge or step along with a slight angle on the axles to keep the non-toothed back of the blade against the step.

I buy all my blades from bandsawblades.com. Awesome blades and fast service.

  8. I just thought I'd throw this out there. Recently, I've been using a table saw with a metal-cutting blade and it works well.

    Thanks,
    Kurt

There is a huge machinery dealer in downtown L.A. I can't remember the street or the name, but is right next door to SUPERCO CUSTOMS. There is a lot of metal working machinery there. I'm sure they could help you.

    For blades:

    For parts:

Have them send you a schematic for your model if you dont have one. It really helps.
