My 15X10 American Racing, real magnesium wheels. I bought 'em from 8th grade genius at the HAMB drags a few years ago. Yeah, they're deeply pitted and the magnesium finish turned black a month after bead blasting but damn! I love 'em.....maybe use 'em on my Volks rod I'm collecting parts for....

I thought these were going on my modified????? .....:D

As far as my most "valuable" ***ets I would have to say it's my photos, s****books, and artwork.

I'm pretty good about backing up all my photos on CD's and taking them to my folks house for storage. All my negatives from years past are all stored properly at my sisters home so basicly those could all be reprinted/replaced.

It's the stuff on the walls, the professionally taken photos from the different race tracks that could never be replaced and those are the ones that I would actually grab first along with my Jeff Norwell prints, and my Froggert and Dave Bell originals.

I don't have anything cool, but my wife and our stupid spoiled little dog (it's HER dog, I didn't have anything to do with spoiling it....well, OK, maybe just a little...) (and my children and their families that are on their own) are the things that I prize. Everything else is just iceing on the cake.

Really, my most prized posseesions would be every day I can get out of bed. Everyday above ground is a great possession. You think about these things more as you get older.

Here's mine: my granddad was an Edsel dealer and this has never left the family. Matter of fact, it had never crossed the Pennsylvania state line till about a month ago. We were all taking bets about whether or not it would spontaneously burst into flames as it crossed the border.

Not exactly HAMB material, but it's the closest family member I have here on the West Coast...

A little off topic but heres this. Piper Pa12 (it is a 1947 model)

And this one, also off topic. 1971 R75 BMW. These are the reasons why i'll never get my T project or 1965 Barracuda finished.

This is mine---this is the ORIGINAL plaque from Dave Marquez's 32 roadster that was on the cover of the July 1956 HOT ROD magazine. He and I got to be good friends in the 80's---he had an off-road team and I started out wrenching on his cars and became a co-driver in his 2-seater buggy. He knew I was into hot rods, so just before he p***ed away,he calls me and hands me this--and says to "run it on a car someday". What do you say to a legend that asks you to do something like that????

He was a great guy---and am VERY proud to show anybody who wants to see it---Hell, I'll show anybody that DOESN'T want to see it!

  18. When i was around 10 yrs old, i'd daydream during a rocking tune, or when the old man was readin me the riot act. That daydream always took me to a blue fastback Vette with blue windows and the nose kicked up a bit. Well, around FORTY years later i built THAT car. For now (besides my health) i'll call it my prized posession

Pretty much everything on and including my car is a prized possesion, and also some of the nailhead parts I have. But there are a couple things in particular im really greatfull to have.

My list basically consists of highly sought after parts that were given to me. haha

    1. Original 32 Ford Grill Shell which is in perfect condition.
    • Bob Georgewits left it to me when he p***ed away.
    2. So-Cal side view mirrors.
    • Rich Wrolen gave them to me(brand new) when he decided not to use them. Rich unfortunately p***ed away since.
    3. Oldsmobile Air Cleaner
    • Kurt Atkinson gave it to me. Luckily he is still with us, and hopefully will be for a long time! (And hopefully he will start reading the HAMB and build a bad *** Oldsmobile powered hot rod!)
    Other stuff*
    • Guide Headlights
    • Original 32 Ford Windsheild Frame
    • Original 32 Ford Door Hinges
    • Chrome Finned Alluminum Valve Covers
    • 39 Ford Clutch/Brake Pedal ***embly

One of mine is my old school chain steering wheel. Not like the newer ones this one is real thick chain. Ive had it on 4 of my cars. You know the one everyone tells the jokes about. Why do lowriders use chain steering wheels--- so they can drive with hand cuffs on. Anyways Its a prized possesion to me.
