Monday we took off for another Cin Day Rodders C.C. junkyard tour. we found this panel with a 4 banger in it what is this? ford? It's a bad pic. the more I think of this car and one other one I seen there I may go back up and try to work out a deal on them.

it's cool that's what it is, it's a bad pic you're right, It kinda looks like a 32 ford panel but I can't really see the firewall so good, if it is that's probably a model b 4 banger in it.

I know Chevy stopped using wood in 1936, but I'm not sure whether or not it's the same for Ford.

It might not even be a Ford...

Could be a IH C-5 1/2 ton Panel they used a Waukesha XAH 185.7 Cubic inch 4 cylinder. If thats what it is that would make it 1935-early 1937 those where the only years the C-5 and C-10 with the 4 cylinder was built.

That's probably it. Here's a 1935 International Panel for a comparison. Looks pretty close to me. :)

Ford never used alot of wood except for roof inserts, which I beleive is why Ford bodies are more popular for hot rods..............
