VERY nice score on the jacket. I've been tossing around the idea of the garage jacket myself.

Used to have one that fit me perfectly... now I can't find it for my life. :(

I should note that the triton in the pic is NOT mine... it's just what I consider to be a very good example of a nice cafe racer!

I like Triumphs, but I don't like their oil leaks, so I split the difference.

My cafe is a 77 KZ650 Kawi. 784cc drag pistons at 12.5:1, custom framework, custom 17" wheels (spoked still), and a hand made polished aluminum tank and seat built by John Williams (which should be ready shortly).

Basically, with the motor I'm running it's a small chassis'd cafe bike with likely over 100rwhp and I-4 performance.

(I know, people will likely knock me for using a japanese bike, but hey, they took British style and perfected the mechanics to be more performance and reliability friendly!)

Man, that is a sweet shift knob. All I got for Christmas from my wife is a new two stage compressor:

And a new (to me) daily driver to replace my $300 truck that I wrecked:

Seriously though, that is a very cool knob.

I need to post some pics of my neighbors projects. He's doing a Fiat Toplino (sp?) with a rear mounted radiator and suicide doors. It started out as a fiberglass gasser or FED body.

I've got two to get thru before I can take on something else. I'd like to build a two seater soap box derby looking ride that sits up on some T or A wheels with the body made from aluminum that's rivited together and left natural. It'd sit up high, so there would be steps hanging off the frame to step over and in as there would be no doors and the engine would be mounted in the rear. I just need to figure out the 90 degree turn down to the rear (I'm sure a search here would yeild the result).

I had a real deal Triton I bought at an estate sale while I was living in Oregon. it was a lil cobby, but it was a runner for sure. I road the shit out of it for a year and traded it for a Shovelhead.

out of all the bikes I have had past & present I dig that Triton the best...
