Oh yes I'm back for the third & final thread in this Trilogy. Thank you to everyone for the great response to the two previous threads & to Ryan for the rad write up on the front page, I have read both entries at least 5 times each. Most importantly I want to thank Curt and his dad Bob (r.i.p) for this insight into how it truly was in the day & not some warped perception. Cheers Jimmy First up is a newspaper clipping from 1944 Entrant ribbon 1948 SCTA Program
Excellent Threads!! Thanks for sharing!!! I have one family pic of a racer, but it is on a 3-D viewmaster reel, so it is impossible to share...from when my granddad took a trip of CA in the 40's

Unreal. Thanks for this thread. Hey boys and girls,... anybody got some good picture reference of ol' Wally Parks old Ford panel he used to travel in? Specifically the panel art. The few pics I've got are small and don't give me a good Idea of the model year either. Thanks in advance
Very very cool. I love learning more, seeing pics and reading up on all of the old speed trials. I love the car listing showing what manifold, cam, engine etc...they were all running. Thanks again!
