i love it. keep the pics coming, cause i'm saving em all. i'm gonna print em out, lay them out in order, hang them on my shop wall and just follow along with my sedan!!! [IMG]

you may think i'm joking, but without them, and your frame dimensions and sketches, i'd still be in the dark on how to go about building my car.

    thanks again!

To make that much progress you must have painted more than one room and not spilled any paint......Good work, Keith.Your knocking that baby out in good time.

Vic, thats the same trans but a different engine. That engine you remember was so siezed it's good for an anchor. I'm going to try pounding out the pistons one of these days so I can save the block. That setup in the pictures is just for the build mockup . I've got a fress nailhead and "de-switchpitched" 400 to go in.

Paul your real funny. That gallon of paint pretty much came out of the carpet!!

Dave, there's no crooked cut I can't fix with my welder . We'll see if it goes straight when I take it down the road!

    Thanks guys.
I'll keep posting as I make some progress.
Mounting the rear end and the sub-frame is next on my list.

forsakenfew - there is 11" between the harmonic balancer and the inside of the front crossmemeber. The grill, radiator and fan are still going in between there.

Cool pics, LSM, I've got a question if you don't mind. On your second from the last photo, with the lift plate on the stock nailhead manifold, did you trim off the heat risers on the manifold, leaving just the runners? I'm doing that to one of my manifolds, to cut weight, eliminate heat to carb, and to give it a "spider" look. If you did, could you post some close-ups of it. Thanks.
